HIVE DEFENCE builds non-lethal effectors and nothing else. One takes the ground out from under a crowd from five metres up. One turns a crowd at nine hundred.

A commander with only lethal options will eventually use them.

The gap between shouting and shooting is the most expensive gap in modern operations. There is nothing inside it, so escalation runs from words to rounds in a single step, and the consequences of that step outlive the engagement by a decade. We build for the inside of that gap and nowhere else.

A single bee is close to useless. A hive holds a working map of a hundred square kilometres, allocates its workers against that map, and defends itself. Nothing was added but connection. Our effectors work the same way: forty-eight aircraft that individually do nothing, running off one picture, holding a street.

Underneath both systems is HIVEMIND, the software spine every emitter and airframe reads from and writes to. It is not sold and it is not a product. It is the reason one operator can hold forty-eight assignments at once, and the reason capability upgrades ship as software instead of as new hardware.

Four rules, on every system

A non-lethal weapon that cannot prove it is non-lethal is a lethal weapon with better marketing.

Reversible by design

Every effect ends when the emission does. Nothing to treat, nothing to evacuate, nothing that outlives the engagement by an hour.

Governed in hardware

Dwell ceilings, exclusion masks, range gates and altitude floors are interlocks inside the emitter. They are not policy in a binder, and the operator cannot exceed them.

Discrimination first

Both systems are aimed, gated and bounded. If we cannot state where the effect stops, we do not ship the effect.

Shared assignment

One operator, dozens of effectors, one map. The element deconflicts itself because every part of it is reading the same picture.

Software companies cannot ship silicon.

Directed-energy products are usually sold as software and a roadmap, because software demos well and emitters do not. Ours are sold as hardware that thinks, because that is what survives a field.

Emitters, cryogenics, airframes and enclosures are designed, machined, assembled, sealed and environmentally tested in-house. The people who write the assignment code sit two doors from the people who wind the coils.

One architecture underneath the whole line means a capability upgrade ships as software, without re-fabricating anything.
